While the utility and meaning of this defense mechanism has been contested by centuries of diplomats and invaders, its unprecedented scale (it is 6,000 mile long) will astonish you and its unexpected beauty will inspire you. We’ll have the opportunity to walk the ramparts of this ancient wonder. On our way back to Beijing we’ll visit the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty.
